A little about - 'Poverty' !

Hello friends, this is my first post on such a serious topic. But i wanted to know what you think !

So today we'll talk about "poverty"

 A measure of income inequality

Percentage of population living on less than $1.25 per day
Percentage of population suffering from hunger

According to Google - 'Poverty is general scarcity or dearth, or the state of one who lacks a certain amount of material possessions or money. It is a multifaceted concept, which includes social, economic, and political elements.'

Nearly half of world's population is poor, around 3 billion people of world are poor. India with 17.5% of total world's population have around 179.6 million poor people which are 20.6% of world's poorest people.

Above their are some images that show us about hunger and income.

I live in India and I see people dying because of starvation, we have the highest number of poor people in world.

"Rich remains rich poor remains poor".

  • Why Poor remains poor ?

Because they get less opportunity then us, they don't get to study in good schools or colleges, they don't have money to buy proper books and stationary.

Also poor people of mainly low caste face inequity, jobs are not given to them. They face issues from societies in which  they live.

The kids have so much pressure on them that makes them helpless, they don't wait for the right time like us, they start their life with something unexpected but they do. But some people think that educating their kids will not change their life so their children work from a small age for a better family income.

Other loose their track and become a gangster or some criminal and some start begging because they think that they can't do any other work.

I don't know how we can overcome this but i know we will.
I really want to know what people think about what's the problem and how can we overcome. It'll be really good to hear from you all readers.
Comment what you think feel free !
Stay tuned.
