HTC ONE (M8 EYE) - Camera and Performance review

OVERVIEW

HTC launched the one M8 which was a successor last year but at the end of the year HTC launched a new piece of aluminium the exterior looks are same but there were few changes made like :-

1) The rear camera (the Ultra pixel 4MP camera) was replaced by a normal 13 Mega Pixel camera.

2) The IR blaster was removed.

3) The processor is degraded from 2.5 GHZ to 2.3 GHZ (but in real time both the devices work same !) Some people have doubt that it is Snapdragon 800 or 801 but we will talk upon it later .

4) there is no NFC in this device

5) Front camera is not as wide the one on M8.

Screen Quality :-

HTC has done a very good job to maintain quality of screens the M8 eye have the same 5.0 inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen 1080 x 1920 pixels with 441ppi pixel density. Photos and videos look good on the screen and the device also support 4k playback. In sunlight there is no issue with the screen as its a LCD panel !

Performance :-

This Phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 CPU

CPU is - Snapdragon 801 msm8974proAA

The phone has 2 GB of ram and GPU is adreno 330This combination is really awesome !You can see the benchmark score and ranking on AnTuTu Benchmark :-

Memory :-

it comes with 16 gb of internal memory and expandable upto 128gb which is a good thing. !

 Camera :-

After a long wait finally we are on camera of the one M8 eye !

It has  13 MP Duo camera with BSI sensor, f/2.0, 28cm, lens .

It records upto 1080p Full HD videos which are pretty decent.

 Now it dose not take good pictures in low light condition like the ultra pixel camera but it has a manual mode which will enable you to take bright pictures in dark with proper focus if you know how to use those settings.
Other things are also good like Duo effects although some are missing .
