How to root your HTC one M8 eye ?

First of all you should know that M8 and M8 eye are two different devices and they need different recovery.
I have found a TWRP  recovery for M8 EYE which works just fine and it will give you root permission ! 

NOTE:- You will not get s-off, to gain that i will do a post soon.

Now for flashing recovery you need :

1) Recovery image. {link is at end of post}
2) Drivers installed on your desktop. {htc drivers installed}
3) Unlocked bootloader. {from htcdev}

First of all disable fastboot from power menu in setting and then switch off your phone. Then press Volume key down (-) and Power key together and enter into bootloader menu.

Then select fastboot by pressing power button.
Connect your phone to your PC and open the folder where you have TWRP recovery. Open command prompt by pressing shift and right click [this will save the time].
To check that that weather the phone is connected or not type  "fastboot device" without quotes and then some text will appear.

After that type "fastboot flash recovery [drag the file]" and then hit enter.
When it is done remove the phone from your computer and go back into HBOOT by pressing power button and then go into recovery.

You can now reboot and it will ask you to install super user on your device slide on install and enjoy the root !
